- T409 Stainless Steel Construction
T409 stainless is specifically chosen for exhaust applications due to its strength and resistance to heat and corrosion. Unlike T304 stainless, T409 is magnetic by nature—this is completely normal and does not mean the material is not stainless.
For trucks that see winter driving or salted roads, T409 stainless is strongly recommended for long-term durability.
